With the college basketball season now just three months way, Drexel released its non-conference schedule for the 2016-17 campaign Monday afternoon.

In their first year under Zach Spiker, the Dragons will do a lot of travelling as they look to rebound from last years’ 6-25 campaign, with just four of their 13 non-conference games being played at home.

The season opens with a weekend in New Jersey, taking on Monmouth and Rutgers, before coming back to Philadelphia for their Nov. 18 home opener against Hartford.

The longest trip of the season will follow, as the Dragons head all the way to Denton, Tex. to take on North Texas, and another road game at Niagara follows, before they come home for their first city opponent, the new-look La Salle Explorers on Nov. 30.

The month of December includes another home Philly opponent, defending Atlantic 10 champion St. Joe’s, sandwiched between two road games against High Point and Rider, before the non-conference schedule closes with a home game against Division III Kean, a road test at Quinnipiac, and a rivalry matchup with Penn at the Palestra.

Here’s a comprehensive look at Drexel’s non-conference slate:
