Scouting Report

Strengths: Mobile forward is certainly an above-average athlete for his size, with good bounce and footwork that allows him to be productive around the rim and out to the 15-foot range. Can put the ball on the floor and has shown the ability to be something of a point-forward, as he's a good passer, though his handle isn't quite to the point where he's someone who will be called upon to be a creator at the college level just yet. Can defend most positions on the court; has the foot speed to keep up with slower guards and the reach to deal with many forwards, and he's becoming a more consistent rebounder and shot-blocker.

Weaknesses: Isn't yet consistent enough from the 3-point arc to be considered a true stretch-forward, though his shot has gotten better over the last 12-18 months. Can still continue to work on his strength, athleticism and explosiveness.

Overall: Stark is a slightly-undersized '4' man who's got some wing skills, but more importantly has a great motor and basketball IQ. Coming out of a great program in La Salle, he's going to have all sorts of Division II and Division III schools on him; at this point, his best fit right away might be at a high-level D-III program as a true '4' who can utilize his skillset at that level, but if his shot starts falling with a little more regularity he could find the court soon enough at a D-II program. --Last update: Dec. 8, 2015
