To get ready for the upcoming July live recruiting periods, Philly Pride is hosting several other  top regional AAU programs at Peak Skills in West Berlin, N.J. on Sunday (July 8) for a day of warmup games.

Here are some notes on several 17U teams to watch:

  • The hosts, Philly Pride, went 6-2 on the Under Armour 17U circuit. They’re led by Imhotep Charter wing Donta Scott, Perkiomen School guard Chris Arcidiacono and Roman Catholic guard Hakim Hart, all of whom have more than a half-dozen Division I offers. New to the team for July is Bonner-Prendergast big man Tariq Ingraham, who has several D-I offers of his own.

  • Also from the Under Armour circuit, WeR1 will be going for its third straight UAA 17U championship this July. Villanova commit Eric Dixon (Abington, Pa.) forms a massive frontcourt with Flint Hill (Va.) big man Qudus Wahab, but the guards are no slouches -- Bonner’s Isaiah Wong and Mater Dei (N.J.)’s Xander Rice will be joined this summer by Philly native and Rider commit Yazid Powell (Mt. Zion Prep, Md.).

  • Though Team Final’s EYBL squad wasn’t good enough this year to qualify for the Peach Jam, that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty of firepower. Roman Catholic wing Seth Lundy and a pair of 2020 guards, A.J. Hoggard (Huntington Prep, W.Va.) and Lynn Greer III (Oak Hill, Va.) all have high-major offers, while Penn commit Lucas Monroe (Abington, Pa.) has already made his college decision.

  • East Coast Power’s 17s got a big boost of talent for July with the arrivals of 6-11 center Jon Bol Ajak (Westtown School, Pa.) and 6-7 wing Konrad Kiszka (La Salle College HS), who added the only thing the team really lacked in the spring: size. Pennridge guard Sean Yoder, Episcopal Academy’s Matt Dade and Methacton’s David Duda already gave them plenty of pep in the backcourt.
