The District 1 brackets were released on Sunday morning, with 1A and 2A’s small fields “unofficially” set; the brackets become official on Monday at noon after district officials double-check out-of-area records.

Of the six teams in the 1A bracket, three will advance to PIAAs. Four teams make up the 2A bracket, which sends two teams onto the state tournament.

Here’s how it breaks down (regular-season record in parenthesis):

Both brackets will begin on Fri., Feb. 24 with the 1A quarterfinals and the 2A semifinals; the 1A semifinals will be Feb. 28, and both finals will be on March 4 at Council Rock South.
