NEWARK, Del.--Despite their ugly first half, the Delaware Blue Hens (4-2) showed a tremendous amount of toughness, finishing off the South Florida Bulls (2-6) by a final score of 67-58 to notch their second-straight win since the season-ending injury to Chivarsky Corbett.

At First...
The first half was about as ugly as it gets, all starting with Delaware turning the ball over on their first three possessions. With eight minutes to go, the two teams had combined for an abismal 7-of-32 shooting mark, but turned it around a bit in the remaining minutes to give Delaware a halftime lead of 33-19.

Turning Point...
Kory Holden,
as the buzzer sounded at the end of the first half, nailed a floating three-pointer to cap off a 13-2 run and set the Hens up with their fourteen-point lead at the break.

USF fought back to get within single-digits on multiple occasions, but never came within less than four points. Delaware then pushed the lead back to double-digits around the six-minute mark and never looked back.

Shining Stars...
Holden had a fantastic night, leading all scorers with twenty-three points, but it was Marvin King-Davis' double-double that proved most critical in the Hens' victory. King-Davis had double-digits in points and rebounds by halftime, and finished the game scoring sixteen while ripping down a stunning eighteen boards.

Noteworthy Numbers...
Delaware’s defense, for the second-straight game, held an opponent under sixty points, and gave up only five three-pointers. USF shot 37-percent on the night, while the Hens hot 31-percent.

The biggest discrepancy between the two teams came on the glass, as Delaware out-rebounded South Florida 48-30.
