Every day during the season on which there are games featuring the 10 Division I teams that CoBL features, we’ll have a Tipping Off running bright and early, letting you know everything you need to know about the matchups.

As always, we’ll start with a wrap of the previous day’s action, followed by a look at the complete slate; as always, thanks to KenPom’s awesome site for his predictions--though keep in mind this early in the season, his predictions aren’t quite as reliable:

Last night’s results

La Salle 83, Lafayette 75
--Quick report
--Price's big night, Washington's return key La Salle
--Klinewski starting to live up to expectations
--La Salle's offense clicking to start the year

Tonight’s games

Penn State Nittany Lions (2-1) vs. Radford Highlanders (3-2)
When: 6 p.m.
Where: Bryce Jordan Center, University Park, Pa.
Watch: Big Ten Network
KenPom Prediction: 69-62, Penn State (79%)

The Skinny: Penn State is coming off its first loss of the season, as the team got blown out on the road by Duquesne on Friday night. The Lions were outscored, 46-20, in the middle 20 minutes of that game, and could not stop the Dukes’ attack. Back at home, Penn State will look to shoot the ball better than its 23.8 percent clip from distance and 52.9 percent mark from the foul line against Duquesne. Radford notably has an upset win against Georgetown, as the Highlanders topped the Hoyas in two overtimes in their first game of the season.

Delaware Blue Hens (1-1) vs. Fairleigh Dickinson (1-3)
When: 7 p.m.
Where: Bob Carpenter Center, Newark, Del.
Watch: N/A
KenPom Prediction: 83-70, Delaware, (88%)

The Skinny: The Hens ran into a hot-shooting Iona squad which handed them their first defeat of the season, but Monte Ross’ side has a good chance to bounce back with a win with a home game against the team listed 327th in the KenPom rankings. Delaware was without guard Cazmon Hayes and big man Maurice Jeffers due to injuries against Iona, and while their status is uncertain heading into the game, it might be safer to rest the two players again. The Hens have a matchup with Temple on Sunday.

CSAC, Centennial Conferences begin play

Two local Division III conferences get league play underway tonight, though not every team in the Centennial or Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) is in action.

The biggest game in the CSAC on Tuesday night will be taking place on Montgomery Avenue when preseason favorite Neumann goes to Alumane Hall to take on a tough Rosemont squad; both teams were in this week's Division III Power Rankings. The Centennial game to watch features two young teams on the rise, when Swarthmore visits Ursinus at 8 PM.

CSAC (all games 7 PM)
Centenary @ Summit
Immaculata @ Cairn
Gwynedd Mercy @ Marywood
Neumann @ Rosemont

Centennial
Johns Hopkins @ Gettysburg (6 PM)
Dickinson @ McDaniel (8 PM)
Swarthmore @ Ursinus (8 PM)
Franklin & Marshall @ Muhlenberg (8 PM)
