Villanova beat East Tennessee State in a lopsided 86-51 win. ETSU entered Friday night after putting together back-to-back 100-point games.

At first…
ETSU beat the Wildcats on the boards very early in the game. The Buccaneers who  shot a sub-par 31.3 percent from 3-point range entering Friday night, hit back-to-back threes to get a 9-4 lead.

Turning point…
Villanova eventually tied it up at 11 before the first media time out. The Wildcats came out of the break with a ferocious 24-0 run that lasted six minutes to take the lead. It was too much for the Buccaneers to overcome, as Villanova cruised to victory.

Standout stars…
Daniel Ochefu posted his third straight double-double, scoring 12 points and collecting 16 rebounds in the win.

T.J. Cromer was the only Buccaneer to eclipse the double-digit mark for his team. Cromer scored 12 points and grabbed three rebounds.

Noteworthy numbers…
Villanova forced 17 turnovers, which they converted into 29 points. ...The Wildcats had their best 3-point performance thus far, going 14-for-34 (41.2 percent) from long range. ...Five different Wildcats scored in double figures: Kris Jenkins (17), Phil Booth (16), Ochefu (12), Ryan Arcidiacono (11), Josh Hart (10)
