Every day during the season on which there are games featuring the 10 Division I teams that CoBL covers, we’ll have a Tipping Off running bright and early, letting you know everything you need to know about the match-ups.

As always, we’ll start with a wrap of the previous day’s action, followed by a look at the complete slate; as always, thanks to KenPom’s awesome site for his predictions--though keep in mind this early in the season, his predictions aren’t quite as reliable:

Lehigh Mountain Hawks (0-1) @ Canisius Golden Griffins (0-1)
Where: Koessler Athletic Center; Buffalo, N.Y.
When: 7:00 PM
Watch it: ESPN3
KenPom Prediction: Canisius, 71-69 (59%)

The Skinny: The Mountain Hawks put up a good fight at Syracuse in their season opener, losing 57-47, and now face a more winnable (but still difficult) road trip to see Jim Baron and the Golden Griffins. Canisius jumped all over Hofstra in its opener but couldn't contain the Pride for long enough in a 96-85 loss. It was quite a debut from grad transfer Malcolm McMillan, a 6-0 guard who had 33 points and six assists in his first game since leaving Central Connecticut State. Tim Kempton (16 pts, 12 rebs) was the lone bright spot for Lehigh in its opener; look for Kahron Ross to get going after a quiet two-point, three-assist, three-steal outing against the Orange.
