The Podcast of Basketball Love returns!

It's been far too long since the CoBL staff busted out the microphones in our luxurious City Ave. studio (apartment) and talked some basketball, but we promise that the PoBL will become a regular occurrence throughout the 2015-16 season and beyond.

For the first--and hopefully only--time, I'm alone in-studio, so I brought on three great guests to talk about high school and college basketball and some local recruiting information as well.

First up is PennLive.com columnist David Jones (@djoneshoop), who's as optimistic about the future of Penn State basketball as he's been in quite some time. David and I discuss the recent commitment of Roman Catholic's Tony Carr and what that means for the Nittany Lions' future, as well as what PSU fans can expect this upcoming year.

This month, many Division I programs have been enjoying trips to Europe the Caribbean and more. One such program is Colgate, which boasts a number of CoBL-area talent on the roster. Sophomore guard Sean O'Brien, formerly of Penn Charter, joins the PoBL to talk about that trip, plus cheesesteaks in Hamilton and some Patriot League parity.

Finally, CoBL assistant editor Tom Reifsnyder (@tom_reifsnyder) calls in to talk about some recent class of 2016 commits and the impacts they could have at the college level.
