It's only been a few hours since college coaches have been officially allowed to call prospects in the rising Class of 2017, but already we're finding out quite a bit about some local targets.
We'll be updating this page all day long as calls, texts and offers continue to stream in:
--Downingtown West (Pa.)/We R1 6-foot-6 forward George Gordon received calls from Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Columbia and American University.
--Neumann-Goretti/Team Final C Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree topped off his day with an offer from Monmouth.
--Updates on a few Team Final Black players: Father Judge PG Marc Rodriguez heard from Holy Cross and Binghamton; Archbishop Wood G Collin Gillespie heard from VMI, Binghamton and Holy Cross; Westtown C Anthony Ochefu also garnered interest from Binghamton.
--Roman Catholic/Team Final SG D'Andre Vilmar was contacted by Hofstra and Iona.
--Parkland (Pa.)/Jersey Shore Warriors SF Sam Iorio was offered by Boston University, his third offer. Iorio also heard today from Stanford, Yale, Penn, Brown, East Carolina, Davidson, Bucknell and Saint Joseph's.
--Appoquinimink (Del.)/South Jersey Jazz SG Myles Cale has been offered by Delaware.
--Reading (Pa.)/Team Final guard Lonnie Walker has picked up an offer from Oregon. He also received interest from California.
--Neumann-Goretti/Team Final F/C Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree received a call from Syracuse.
--Imhotep Charter (Pa.)/Team Philly 2017 SF Koby Thomas was called by Providence.
--Adding to the earlier schools that called him, Episcopal Academy/Team Final forward Nick Alikakos fielded calls from Holy Cross, Boston University, Dartmouth and Drexel. His AAU teammate, SG Jordan Money (St. Elizabeth), said that Monmouth, Drexel and Delaware contacted his coach.
--High-major target Quade Green (Neumann-Goretti/WE R1), who picked up offers from Missouri, South Carolina and Michigan State during the April live periods, added La Salle and Xavier to his list. Maryland, Saint Joseph's, Temple, Providence and others offered during his sophomore year. Also calling today were Arizona State, Missouri, Maryland and Villanova.
--Germantown Academy/Jersey Shore Warriors wing Evan-Eric Longino has fielded a call from Brown.
--St. Elizabeth (Del.)/Team Final guard Jordan Money was contacted by Fairleigh Dickinson.
--Lower Moreland (Pa.)/Jersey Shore Warriors guard Matt Cerruti got a call from Yale assistant Justin Simon.
--Following up on a terrific performance for Puerto Rico at the FIBA Americas U16 championships, Sanford School/WE R1 guard Eric Ayala picked up an offer from La Salle. They're one of a list of schools that have reached out: St. John's, Purdue, Virginia, Dayton, George Washington, Penn, Miami and Saint Joseph's have also contacted the 6-3 guard.
--Imhotep Charter/Team Final guard Daron Russell picked up his first offer, from Binghamton.
--Neumann-Goretti (Pa.)/Team Final F/C Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree has heard from Xavier, La Salle, Nebraska and Temple.
--Roman Catholic (Pa.)/Team Final SG D'Andre Vilmar added VMI, Fairleigh Dickinson and Towson to a list that started with calls from Penn and Bucknell.
--Episcopal Academy (Pa.)/Team Final F Nick Alikakos has heard from Penn, Saint Joseph's, Yale, Colgate, Bucknell and Fairleigh Dickinson.
--Archbishop Carroll (Pa.)/Philly Pride SG David Beatty, who already has a Penn State offer, was called by Maryland, La Salle and Saint Joseph's.
--Archbishop Wood (Pa.)/Team Final Black G Collin Gillespie received a call from Bucknell assistant John Griffin.
--Archbishop Ryan (Pa.)/Team Philly SG Izaiah Brockington spoke to Hartford head coach John Gallagher, while Yale has also called. Penn, Princeton and American have already been in touch with the 6-3 lefty.
--Per his AAU team, Westtown (Pa.)/PSA Cardinals F/C Mohammed Bamba was offered by Kentucky and Missouri, and Duke is showing interest.
