Many in the Tri-State area already knew just how good Tony CarrLamar Stevens and others were on the basketball court.

On Tuesday, Carr, Stevens and more found themselves on the new ESPN Top 100 recruiting list for the class of 2016 (rising seniors).

Carr and Stevens have each seen their recruiting stocks soar so far this summer, and the Top 100 ranking assures that ascension.

Carr, a 6-foot-3 point guard from Roman Catholic High School, was ranked 52nd on the list. He currently holds offers from 25 schools, including the likes of Georgetown, Indiana, Iowa, St. John's, Virginia Commonwealth, Maryland and local programs in Temple and La Salle.

Stevens, who is expected to join Carr at Roman Catholic in the fall after leaving The Haverford School, checked in at No. 74 on the list. The 6-foot-6 wing has 19 offers to his ledger, including Indiana, Villanova, Temple, Maryland, Iowa and more.

CoBL has written before about the potential of Carr and Stevens, childhood friends, playing collegiately together

Other locals on the list include Michigan commit, Tyus Battle of Edison, N.J., who is ranked 27th.

Delaware's Sedee Keita, a 6-foot-11 big man who plays his prep basketball at 22 Feet Academy in South Carolina, was listed at No. 83.

Villanova commit Omari Spellman, a 6-foot-9, 272-pound power forward, checked in at No. 16 on the list. Spellman is the only CoBL area commit on the list.

Harry Giles, a 6-foot-11 power forward from Winston-Salem, N.C., tops the talented group.
