Each year, the top players in the rising senior, junior and sophomore classes meet for a trio of games in an event that’s become known as the Wayne Ellington All-City Classic.

Alumni of the event include NBA alums like Ellington, Kobe BryantJameer NelsonKyle LowryTyreke Evans and more, and this year's field has plenty of future Division I stars and even some potential pros.

The rosters are filled with names that should be plenty familiar to those who follow the local basketball scene, from the Team Final/Roman Catholic trio of Penn State commit Nazeer Bostick plus Lamar Stevens and Tony Carr, to 2017 standout guard Quade Green, who's already roped in offers from the likes of Michigan State, Missouri, Villanova and more, to 2018 Cameron Reddish, who's being touted as one of the top players nationally in his class.

This year’s version, the 21st annual, will take place on May 29 at Girard College, with the games starting around 6:00 PM with the rising sophomores (2018s) and running for approximately four hours; admission is $12.

It's the culmination of a week of All-City Classic events, beginning with the fourth annual Jr. All-City Classic (2019s/2020s) on May 26 at Imhotep and the third annual girls All-City Classic on May 27, also at Imhotep. Those events both start at 6:30 PM.
