DOWNINGTOWN — The 2025 edition of the CoBL Girls’ Winter Showcase brought eight suburban Philly squads to Downingtown West on Saturday for a four-game event. Talented squads from four different leagues — the Ches-Mont, Central, Catholic and AACA — participated in four hard-fought matchups in front of the CoBL staff as well as family, friends and other fans.

The results:
Springfield (Delco.) 54, Merion Mercy 24
Bishop Shanahan 49, Bonner-Prendergast 40
Downingtown East 44, Conestoga 39
Downingtown West 51, Lower Merion 39

Here’s who stood out over the course of the day:

~~~
Adi DiTrolio (2026 | Springfield Delco.)
It was a strong showing for the DiTrolio sisters in Springfield’s big win over Merion Mercy. Adi, the younger sister by two years, scored 14 points on 6-of-9 from the floor, adding four rebounds and two steals to a balanced team effort before spending the fourth quarter on the bench celebrating an impending victory. The 5-6 guard knocked down her only 3-point attempt and free throw, had a tough take for an and-one and handled the ball deftly against the MMA defense.
Just like her younger sister, Lil DiTrolio contributed 14 points to the win over MAA, matching her sister by going 6-of-9 from the floor, though she hit two 3-points and grabbed one more rebound than her sister, sealing the MVP award for the game with a few impressive takes to the rim where she dribbled around and past multiple defenders to lay it up and in with aplomb, then splashing down one final 3-pointer to close out the third quarter.
Kylee Domsohn (2028 | Downingtown West)
On a roster full of versatile players, Domsohn tends to demonstrate it any time she touches the ball. In Saturday’s win over Lower Merion, she hit a pair of threes, brought the ball up the floor in transition, collected seven rebounds, dished out a team-high three assists, blocked a shot and tallied three steals.
Kayla Epps (2028 | Bonner-Prendergast)
A powerful 5-5 guard, Epps led Bonner in a hard-fought game against Bishop Shanahan, coming up with 14 points, seven steals, four rebounds and three assists as the Friars ultimately fell short by nine. Epps really showed off her dribble-drive abilities, turning the corner around screens and getting downhill with ease, and she did a good job of finishing at the rim, even though her outside shot wasn’t falling. Defensively, her steals came from a mix of ripping the ball out of an opponents’ hands and reading passing lanes like a free safety.
Lauren Foster (2026 | Bishop Shanahan)
Foster is Shanahan’s jack-of-all-trades, which she showed in the Eagles’ 49-40 win over Bonner-Prendergast. The 5-8 wing racked up 10 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals, doing it while knocking down a 3-pointer, getting to the line, hitting a mid-range, and doing a good job of both moving the ball around the perimeter and also making a couple high-low passes to teammates for buckets, all while playing stout defense. She was named game MVP for her efforts.
Abby Garrity (2027 | Bishop Shanahan)
Shanahan’s slight 5-6 point guard played way bigger than her frame on Saturday, knocking down multiple big shots as she came up with 14 points in the Eagles’ win over Bonner. A strong ball-handler, Garrity was constantly dribbling out of trouble or resetting the Shanahan offense whenever someone got in trouble, and she knows exactly when to put up a shot or drive; she knocked down three 3-pointers and got to the line on a fourth attempt, and she also came up with one of the most athletic plays with an outright stuff in the fourth quarter.
Grace Hodges (2026 | Downingtown East)
Nobody on the Cougars roster got off to a particularly fast start Saturday, but one Hodges nailed her first shot, a three that kicked off a key run in the second quarter, the senior came up big. Hodges scored a game-high 16 points, connecting on a trio of three-points on five attempts and timed her baskets well, usually making a shot just when the Cougars needed one. She also added two assists and a pair of steals, helping out on the group defensive effort against Conestoga’s Ryann Jennings.
Ryann Jennings (2026 | Conestoga)
Conestoga’s Lehigh-bound star guard had a quality two-way game as the Pioneers lost to Downingtown East by five in the third game of the afternoon. Jennings put up 15 points with eight rebounds, three assists and two steals; she was forced into taking some off-balance 3-pointers at times as the Pioneers struggled with East’s defensive length, but Jennings also broke free in the mid-range for a couple athletic pull-ups and finishes, showing why she’ll be in the Patriot League next year.
Ella Liberatoscioli (2028 | Lower Merion)
The Aces’ 6-0 post was swarmed by the Downingtown West defense every time she touched the ball on Saturday, going up against an imposing frontline, but she more than held her own. Liberatoscioli did a great job of being strong with the ball and ensuring that contact turned into fouls, where she capitalized; she was 9-of-9 from the charity stripe to propel her to a game-high 15 points, adding two rebounds, steals and blocks as well to earn standout player honors for her team.
Kelsey Meenan (2026 | Downingtown West)
Downingtown West’s vocal leader can also fill up the box score and Meenan did just that Saturday with 12 points, four rebounds, three assists and a couple blocks as the Whippets picked up their fifth win. Meenan, at 5-foot-10, is listed as a forward but she’s just as comfortable playing on the perimeter as she is on the inside and proved it by nailing a three and taking the ball to the paint for an and-one and a couple trips to the line. The senior, who was named game MVP, adds plenty of value with her communication and helped make sure her team was organized on both sides.
