St. Joseph’s Prep vs. Audenried Charter
9:00 AM, Jefferson Ct. 2

An early-morning Philly battle between Catholic League and Public League talent should get Saturday started with energy. St. Joe’s Prep brings a versatile group led by 2026 SG/SF Will Lesovitz and 2027 G Myles Peterson, along with 2028s Julian and Justin McKie, all of whom showed flashes last weekend. Tyler Sandora is serving as acting head coach for the Hawks during Philly Live, while newly-appointed Chris Clark will fully take over next month. Audenried, coached by Marvin Stinson, brings its usual toughness and physicality, anchored by 6-6 2027 big Nathan Lee, a disruptive paint presence who embraces his role and plays hard. Expect a fast-paced and physical game with a mix of young upside on both sides.

Dr. Phillips (Fl.) vs. Don Bosco Prep (N.J.)
10:10 AM, PYB Ct. 4

An East Coast vs. Southeast clash in the City of Brotherly Love. Dr. Phillips makes the trip up from just outside Orlando, while Don Bosco Prep comes down from North Jersey for a strong national matchup. Dr. Phillips is led by head coach Ben Witherspoon and features promising young guard Josiah Gillard (2028), while Don Bosco, coached by Kevin Diverio, brings size and versatility with 6-8 F JP Skoric (2026) and rising guard Jaylen Lewis (2028).

Notre Dame (Conn.) vs. Jackson-Reed (D.C.)
11:20 AM, PYB Ct. 3

Notre Dame out of West Haven, Conn. makes the trip south to face a deep and physical Jackson-Reed squad from the heart of D.C. Head coach Jason Shea leads the Green Knights, who feature senior forward and Sacred Heart commit Landon Krygier, along with the Toure brothers Abdou (2026) and Sekou (2028), who bring size and motor to the floor. Jackson-Reed is led by Bill Bourgouin and returns a strong core in 2026 PG Diego Joy, 6-9 big Kaylin Dunbar (2026), smooth 6-4 guard Lane Mahan (2027), and poised lead guard Averi Knight (2027). Expect a competitive matchup between two well-coached programs with plenty of size and leadership on both ends.

Archbishop Carroll vs. Bergen Catholic (N.J.)
12:30 PM, Jefferson Ct. 1

A can't-miss mid-day matchup featuring two deep and battle-tested rosters from the PCL and North Jersey’s powerhouse scene. Carroll and head coach Francis Bowe bring a blend of experience and upside with 2026 PF/C Drew Corrao (6-8), 2026 CG Christian Matos, and 2027 SG/SF Munir Greig (6-5). Look for 2028 PG Yasir Turner to show more flashes as one of the youngest prospects on display this weekend. Bergen Catholic, led by head coach Billy Armstrong, rolls into Philly with a balanced and dangerous nine-man group. The 2026s feature 6-6 PF Julius Avent and CG Jaden Brown, while the 2027s bring size and depth with 6-9 PF/C Luka Kuqo, 6-9 PF Kieran Quinn, 6-3 PG Jahlil Owusu, and 5-10 PG Alex Mazzella. The 2028 group includes SG Sean Forbes, CG Shane Jacobs, and 6-7 PG Owen Wucherpfenning, giving the Crusaders plenty of youth and upside to pair with their physicality and tradition.

West Catholic vs. St. John’s College (D.C.)
12:30 PM, PYB Ct. 3

A major out-of-state test for both squads here, Miguel “Boc” Bocachica’s West Catholic Burrs are fresh off a 3A state championship and return to Philly Live II with a leaner roster that will need to punch above its weight. 2026 PF Kingston Wheatley (6-7) brings physicality and bounce inside, while 2027 SG Xavier Fauntroy (6-3) adds spacing and shot-making. But St. John’s, led by Pat O’Connor, brings serious size and depth to the matchup. Their group of rising juniors (2027s) includes 6-10 C James DiBitetto, 6-6 PF Zyion Chase, and 6-4 SF Jordan Taylor. They’re joined by a pair of rising sophomores (2028s) in 6-5 CF Jon Larranaga Jr. and 6-4 SF Kareem Smith-Bey, rounding out a frontcourt that’s among the longest and most versatile in the event.

Plymouth Whitemarsh vs. Jackson-Reed (D.C.)
1:40 PM, PYB Ct. 3

One of the top public school teams in the D.C. region in recent history, Jackson-Reed once again brings a strong squad up north to Philadelphia to take on some top competition. This one’s got a great matchup of big men in P-W 2026 Michael Pereira and J-R’s Kaylin Dunbar, both about 6-9 and physical, Pereira picking up offers from Drexel, Penn and La Salle in the last few weeks. Pereira’s half of a 1-2 inside-out punch with 2026 G Mani Sajid, along with 2027 Buddy Denard and several other pieces back from last year, giving them the depth to compete with the size and physicality of Jackson-Reed.

Archbishop Wood vs. Sidwell Friends (Md.)
4:00 PM, PYB Ct. 4

Caleb Lundy (above) and Archbishop Wood) have a big game Saturday evening. (Photo: Josh Verlin/CoBL)

Sidwell Friends is big and long up front, head coach Eric Singletary with a number of versatile pieces including 2026 Jalyn Collingwood (6-6) and 2027s Ian Condon (6-7), Alex Garrett (6-7) and Omari Pearson III (6-6), plus 2028 Eric Green (6-5), with 2028 PG Jadah Washington another name to know. That’ll be an interesting challenge for a Wood group that features lanky 6-11 shotblocker Jaydn Jenkins up front but otherwise is guard-heavy, including 2026 Brady MacAdams and 2027 Caleb Lundy, both Division I recruits, with 2028 G Dylan Powell emerging as a quality lead guard as well.

Imhotep Charter vs. Gonzaga College (D.C.)
6:20 PM, PYB Ct. 3

New Gonzaga head coach Keith Urgo, who brings a ton of Division I coaching experience with him to D.C., brings a ton of talent up to the City of Brotherly Love. The Mbuyamba brothers, Allen (2026) and David (2028) bring good size at 6-4 and 6-7, respectively, along with 6-6 2026 SF Saxton Simley and 6-6 2028 Patrick Shime are the biggest names for college coaches to know, but they’ve got a deep group overall. Imhotep’s in a similar boat, Andre Noble’s Panthers always deep, though his best prospects are in the young classes at the moment. That being said, 2026 SF Latief Lorenzano-White and 2026 G Jordan Dill are both scholarship-level talents, with 2027s Kevin Benson III and Malik Brown next up and 2028 PG Ian Smith one to watch as well.

Roman Catholic vs. Coatesville
7:30 PM, Jefferson Ct. 1

This one was a no-brainer, a rematch of a PIAA 6A quarterfinal that saw Roman beat Coatesville by 10 at Norristown en route to a state runner-up finish. The most notable matchup is on the wing, where Roman’s recent VCU commit, 6-7 2026 SF Sammy Jackson, will go head-to-head with Coatesville’s fast-rising 2028 SF Colton Hiller, fresh off an appearance with the USA U-16 junior national team and a monster first weekend of Philly Live. Of course, both teams have much more than just one star; for Coatesville, that’s 6-7 2026 F Larry Brown, while had a strong first June weekend of his own, while Roman’s got 2026 SF Bryce Presley and 2028 Gs Dwayne Ruffin Jr. and Brad Wanamaker who are stepping into bigger roles.

Colonia (N.J.) vs. James Blake (Md.)
7:30 PM, PYB Ct. 5

There are plenty of really good late-night games involving a few teams we’ve mentioned here already, but here’s a couple we haven’t mentioned yet in two high-quality public school teams with a whole bunch of talent. Colonia has a must-watch 2026 wing guard in 6-5 Aiden Derkack, an athletic combo who can play above the rim, snipe shots from deep and make plays all over the court, with two older siblings both playing D-I hoops; 2028 G Jayce Rodriguez is emerging next to him as the next leader for Jose Rodriguez. James Blake has the biggest stud in the whole event in top-ranked 2027 Babtunde Oladotun, a 6-8 wing with unlimited scoring ability and a ceiling through the roof; 6-5 2026 Eli Konkler is another talented wing for opposing defenses to worry about.
