City of Basketball Love

The 2025 edition of the Northeast Basketball League — known now as the Jay Ems and Marrinucci’s Summer League — returns to Mayfair Recreation Center for an eight-week, round-robin competition featuring 16 teams from around the area. 

It’s a loaded field with five different Catholic League programs, six from District 1, and a few others from the Friends’ League, the Public League, Berks County and South Jersey to fill it out. Each team will play eight games, with competition starting May 6 and running through late June. 

This year’s participating teams: Archbishop Wood, Bensalem, Central Bucks East, Cherry Hill East (N.J.), Conwell-Egan, Council Rock North, Council Rock South, Father Judge, Friends’ Select, Holy Ghost Prep, Lincoln, Muhlenberg, Northeast, St. Joseph’s Prep, Upper Dublin, West Catholic
