The Maggie Lucas Classic brought 11 games to Jefferson University on Sunday, and the CoBL staff was there for all of them.

Here’s who stood out to us over the course of the day:

~~~
Naomi Allen (2026 | Sanford, Del.)
Allen was inevitable when she caught the ball around the basket. She carved out space on the block and finished through contact. Her teammates also dropped the ball off to her on drives, setting her up for easy buckets. All 13 of her points came in the first half and, when she wasn't scoring, she was crashing the boards, tallying seven rebounds to lead the Warriors to a big win over Mount St. Joseph.
AJ Avery (2026 | Plymouth Whitemarsh)
In the opening game of the day versus Masterman, Avery came out locked in on defense. She put in a ton of effort pressuring the ball and forcing turnovers. Then, after halftime, she found her offensive groove. The smooth combo guard cruises into the lane for one layup after another, scoring 14 of her 16 in the third and fourth quarters. She did all of that while also leading the Colonials on the glass with eight rebounds.
Rian Dotsey (2025 | Haverford)
St. Joe's University is getting a skilled player with a great feel for the game; but in the meantime, Dotsey is filling up the statsheet for the Fords. The 6-2 combo forward had her way with the Bishop Shanahan defense, creating angles to score on post-ups and finishing on either side of the basket. Able to change directions and speeds very well at her height, Dotsey maneuvered around one defender after another. She paced the Fords with 19 points and 10 boards.
Jocelyn Goldstein (2025 | Masterman)
The Dragons weren't able to get the win against Plymouth Whitemarsh, but Goldstein put up a good fight. A forward committed to Johns Hopkins, she severely limited PW’s points in the paint by blocking multiple shots and contesting others. She then put pressure on the rim with drives from the perimeter and drew fouls. Goldstein found even more success with her jumper, knocking down a three and a pair of middies on her way to 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 blocks.
Hayley Kolk (2027 | Neshaminy)
Kolk flashed her versatility and upside in Neshaminy’s win over Spring-Ford, a low-scoring affair that her squad put away in the fourth quarter with a strong defensive effort. The 6-1 forward played her part with four blocks, two steals and three rebounds, complementing her 16-point contribution on the offensive side. That included three 3-pointers and 5-of-8 from the foul line, as she showed she will attack close-outs and isn’t afraid to drive into traffic to take a foul.
Jess Lockwood (2026 | Central Bucks East)
In a game where West Catholic refused to go away, Lockwood at least managed to keep the Burrs at arms’ length thanks to a stellar shooting performance. The sharpshooting wing, who led all scorers in the night finale with 22 points, hit five 3-point shots and overall was 6-of-8 from the floor. Every time West Catholic got close in the second half, someone on East seemed to find Lockwood and she’d simply swish a three to make it a two or three possession game again. Lockwood also added seven rebounds to help East sweep a challenging non-league weekend.
Grace McDonough (2025 | Lansdale Catholic)
Dominance inside the paint by their JMU commit was the key to the Crusaders’ victory against Upper Dublin. McDonough began the game with a tremendous effort on the glass, collecting almost double-digit rebounds before halftime. Steadily getting in the zone throughout the second, she exerted her will over her defender to get deep catches in the post and mid-range jumpers for efficient buckets. UD hit a couple big shots to bring the game within two scores. But after a miss, McDonough grabbed a defensive rebound and went coast-to-coast for a layup to extend the lead. She totalled 22 points, with 10 coming in the fourth quarter, to go along with 14 boards.
Claire McKee (2027 | Germantown Academy)
McKee racked up an 11-point, 13-rebound double-double in a win over Downingtown East in one of her strongest games yet in a Patriots uniform. The 5-11 wing/forward sliced to the hoop on multiple occasions, confidently putting the ball on the floor and creating space to finish at a good clip, and she also got to the foul line three times (3-6 FT). She was aggressive on the glass, constantly grabbing rebounds in traffic, with four of those boards coming on the offensive end.
Haley Moran (2027 | Central Bucks East)
Moran was a whirl of energy in Sunday’s nightcap against West Catholic. The 5-foot-6 point guard seemed to always be dancing with the ball in a constant crossover dribble on the perimeter, only to then appear a step from the rim on a drive putting pressure on the defense. Moran scored 19 points and was nails from the foul line doing so, hitting 11-of-13 overall and 6-of-6 in a tight fourth quarter. Her passing was on point too, Moran dishing five assists in a quality Patriots win.
Naiya Murphy (2026 | Ursuline Academy, Del.)
Murphy worked hard all game long in Ursuline’s loss to Council Rock South, plugging away for an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double. The 6-foot-tall forward, previously at Avon Grove, had a nice face-up game with a couple mid-range jumpers and also stepped out to knock down a 3-pointer, while also showing good footwork and touch around the bucket, with the ability to finish with both hands. Murphy was 5-of-7 from the foul line and grabbed five of her rebounds on the offensive end as well.
Kathryn O’Kane (2025 | Council Rock South)
O’Kane has a smoothness to her game on both ends, the athletic 5-9 guard confident with or without the ball in her hands, whether it’s as a defender (two blocks), facilitator (three assists) or scorer (14 points), all of which she did in CR South’s win over Ursuline Academy (Del.). O’Kane, who’s going to play soccer at the University of Scranton, also added five rebounds while finishing on a couple high-degree-of-difficulty layups, even through contact; she had two and-ones and was 6-of-8 from the line overall.
Jordyn Palmer (2027 | Westtown School)
Palmer was an unstoppable force inside against Perkiomen Valley, the highly-ranked 6-1 sophomore wing going for 27 points and doing it just about all from the paint; she was hitting turnaround jumpers, running the floor in transition, showing off some nifty post footwork, crashing the glass, or doing generally whatever else she needed to do to get a free look at the rim. And if her first attempt didn’t go in, most of the time she was right there to clean up the miss, with five of her 13 rebounds coming on the offensive end; the three steals and block she collected just added to her day.
Fiona Reckner (2025 | Council Rock South)
Reckner was outstanding in South’s win over Ursuline, the 5-10 wing leading the Golden Hawks’ offense with 24 points on a strong night from the floor. Recker’s high-arcing shot hit the net over and over, whether she was catching and shooting from the 3-point arc, or (more commonly) hitting in the mid-range, where she barely needed a split-second to put up a feathery jumper; she also used a head fake and put the ball on the floor to attack the rim, ultimately getting to the line five different times and going 9-of-10 from the line, and also contributed three assists and a block.
Molly Rullo (2025 | Cardinal O'Hara)
If Lions are a machine, then Rullo was their engine versus Audenried Charter. After a layup of her own, she proceeded to exploit the defense by hitting her teammates on backdoor cuts. Rullo did the dirty work in the middle 16 with takeaways and glasswork. The Rockets made things interesting in the fourth until the Drexel signee fired back with 11 points, before finishing with 19 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals.
Milan Trusty (2028 | West Catholic)
The Burrs pushed CB East throughout Sunday’s final game, with Trusty scoring an early basket to show they weren’t going to be an easy out. West Catholic had different players step up at different times and Trusty’s time was the fourth quarter. Shaking off a collision with a teammate that prompted a quick trip to the trainer’s table, the guard came back with eight of her 12 points in the final frame to force a veteran CB East team to find some answers over and over again.
Taylor Williams (2028 | Germantown Academy)
Williams came off the bench for GA on Sunday but didn’t miss a beat, the 6-foot-tall freshman going for 17 points with six rebounds to lead her team to an 11-point win over Downingtown East. She got rolling with an old-fashioned three-point play in the third quarter, then had six points each in the second and third quarters, when the Patriots increased their lead from five to 18. She’s got great footwork and patience in the post and knows how to get to the hoop from 15 feet and in, then went 6-of-7 from the floor and 5-of-5 from the line once she got there.
