The 2024 CoBL Underclassman Exposure Camp brought right around 120 incoming high school freshman and sophomore boys to the courts at the Alan Horwitz “Sixth Man” Center on Saturday for our annual showcase of the area’s top young talent.

Throughout a full day of drills, Q+A sessions, team practices and games, the CoBL staff had a chance to start to get to know the next generation of hoopers who will soon be populating varsity rosters across the Delaware Valley and beyond.

While the camp was absolutely stocked with quality players, here’s who particularly stood out to the CoBL writers in attendance:

Jaden Craft (2027 | Devon Prep)
The youngest of three lived up to his name as he hunted ways to exploit the opposing defense. Craft found avenues to win despite being slight-of-frame by using his head. With the ball in his hands, he set up others for backdoor cuts and lifts for corner threes. He got off pull-up threes too. Just as smart off-ball, Craft continued his aerial assault by relocating into open space and getting off catch-and-shoot treys of his own.

Logan Gale (2027 | Neshaminy)
The 5-10 point guard consistently made plays throughout the day. He has a good feel for the game, able to pick spots to attack and score and figure out when to carve up the lane to kick to a teammate. He possesses good court vision and an understanding of how to get where he wants to go on the court. Gale has a nose for the ball and some bounce that helped him supplement his scoring and playmaking with rebounding and even a block or too on the defensive end as well.

Seth Gaye (2027 | Archbishop Ryan)
The Raiders’ rising sophomore proved to be an explosive scorer. Gaye got downhill with urgency whether he was in the halfcourt on a fastbreak. And when he wasn't getting to the basket on his own, he was knocking down triples off-the-catch. Gaye read closeouts decisively, extending the advantage with more drives or finding the bottom of the net from three. His tenacity putting the ball in the hoop boded well for his team.

Grayson Golek (2027 | Garnet Valley)
The rising sophomore started and played a ton as a freshman for a very good Jags’ squad, and so it was no surprise that his game translated to a strong two-way showing at the Sixth Man Center. The 6-5 forward showed off his toughness around the bucket with his rebounding, but got much of his offensive production by picking and popping out to the 3-point arc, going 3-of-4 from deep in one viewing. Defensively, he displayed great versatility, switching easily out onto guards and keeping them in front of him while also communicating well and playing physical down low.

Silas Graham (2027 | Haverford School)
Bringing the most varsity experience to the Underclassmen Camp, Graham displayed an all-around game that helped him dominate throughout the day. He knocked down shots, was a ferocious rebounder and played point guard. A 6-4 guard, Graham has enough length and athleticism to play out on the wing, but his feel for the game, vision and playmaking make him truly a problem at the point guard spot where he is equally adept at getting his own bucket or setting up a teammate.

Nick Harken (2027 | Malvern Prep)
He was a little tough to miss in the first game on Court 1 on Saturday. The 6-4 rising sophomore wing played an all-around game, driving strong to the basket while providing solid interior defense. What was particularly impressive was one sequence in which he failed to finish a layup, and instead of getting discouraged, hustled down the length of the court to make a defensive stop, then canned a three-pointer on the next trip down the offensive end. He wound up with 18 points in his first game, reaching that mark in a variety of ways, and averaged north of 14 ppg over the three games.

Colton Hiller (2028 | Coatesville)
Hiller was an efficient bucket throughout all three games on Saturday, scoring from all over the court. The 6-foot-4 wing has a buttery jumper he used to knock down shots off the bounce or a pass from his teammate. He was adept at getting to the hoop as well using strength as well as nimbleness and impressive finishing ability. A game tying three followed by a coast-to-coast drive and and-one game-winner highlighted a mightily impressive day in which he scored 24 points in one game and 29 in another.

Da’Shaun Holden (2028 | St. Elizabeth, Del.)
In his first game, he was arguably the best player on the court. He kept his team moving, found the open man, and was able to create his own shot off the dribble. Each time he had the explosive 5-7 rising freshman guard had the ball, he was either creating for himself or a teammate. He showed an uncanny court awareness for his age, with the diversity of being able to drive to the basket, or sit back and can a 3-pointer. Every time he was on the court, he was a difference-maker.

Kam Jackson (2027 | Bonner-Prendie)
Good things happened when Jackson asserted himself. A conductor in the halfcourt, he got two feet into the paint for quick buckets and drop-off passes. Jackson also set the table in pick-and-roll and threw darts to cutters. Then, on fastbreaks, he did what he does best. Off of boards or turnovers, Jackson tilted the floor and instantly pressured the rim as he orchestrated efficient offense.

Dwayne Jones III (2027 | Sanford School, Del.)
The son of former St. Joe’s star Dwayne Jones, Dwayne III, a 6-5 rising sophomore post, had a great bounce in his step and was simply all over the court. A lefty, Jones showed great diversity in his ability to either play down low, or take opponents outside, when he nailed a few three-pointers. Defensively, he has superior athleticism, and it showed, when during one defensive sequence he blocked two shots, then came back to block another shot on the following possession. There were two drives that he finished with authority, showing great hops with a pair of slams.

Cole Maguire (2028 | Haverford School)
The tallest prospect in the camp, Maguire more than lived up to it. The 6-8 center carved out space in the low post for high percentage looks. And when his teammates couldn't get it to him, he gladly spaced the floor horizontally. Maguire spotted-up and popped off of ball-screens before draining uncontestable threes. His reach on defense was instrumental too as he swatted away numerous attempts at the basket.

Rahkiy Mason (2027 | Father Judge)
Mason impressed in the Public League last year at the now-closed Math Civics & Sciences; he’s got a new challenge ahead in the PCL, where he’ll be a quality reserve for a Judge squad with eyes on a PCL title. The super-speedy 5-9 point guard has the ball on a string and can create right or left equally well; he’s at his best pushing the pace in transition but has the handles and quickness to get by defenders in the half court, and he’s equally adept at finishing around the rim as he is finding shooters on the perimeter while on the move.

Julian McKie (2028 | St. Joe's Prep)
Whether he's classified as a wing or a big guard, McKie routinely got to the rim as a crisp slasher. We drove left and right, getting by different types of defenders before finishing with either hand. And when helpers cut him off, McKie smoothly stopped on a dime for mid-range jumpers. Standing almost 6-4, his assertiveness on the glass was notable too. He slipped past opposing players for a number of rebounds and putback lay-ups.

Marvin Reed (2027 | Malvern Prep)
Reed is non-stop on both ends of the floor using his quickness and speed to put pressure on opponents. His quick hands and feet and aggressive mentality lead to mistakes for the other team. He can certainly get by his man too, bursting into the paint where he pulled up, knocked down floaters and displayed some finishing near the basket.

Zion Redic (2027 | Odessa, Del.)
The Delaware product is a 6-3 wing/guard with strength, athleticism and a propensity for putting the ball through the hoop. He had confidence in his jumper, pulling up to knock down shots from deep throughout the day. Even more impressive was his feel for using his physical traits to attack the rim, embracing and finishing though contact. One of the more consistent scorers in the camp, he had at least 14 points in all three games he played.

Cole Zalewski (2027 | Conwell-Egan)
At 6-2, Zalewski showed skill and poise as an on-ball creator. He initiated advantages off-the-bounce, turning isos and pick-and-roll reps into paint touches. Collapsing the defense, in addition to opportunities in transition, allowed him to display his playmaking with quick-hitting and pinpoint passes. Zalewski’s touch as a distributor translated to the touch on his jumper as he hit some daggers from three on pull-ups and spot-ups.
