Fans of local (and regional) girls hoops will want to be at Kutztown University this Sunday.

The 8th annual One-Day Challenge, hosted by the Kutztown women’s basketball team, is a busy day of basketball, going all day long at the PSAC school. Five courts will see action from 8 AM until 2 PM, with four courts going until 8 PM — a total of 54 games packed into 12 hours.

All 36 teams involved will play three games apiece in alternating sets, with plenty of quality in all four groups. The morning sets include Perkiomen Valley, Archbishop Wood, Friends’ Central, Spring-Ford, Neshaminy and more; the afternoon includes Lansdale Catholic, Conestoga, West Catholic, Shipley, Shanahan and others.

Admission is $10 for those who are 10 years of age and older. Here’s the full schedule:
