For the second weekend in a row, Philly is about to get Live.

The second weekend of Philly Live’s 2023 edition is just as good as the first, featuring top programs from the Philadelphia region as well as those from the tri-state area and as far away as Florida coming to play at the annual event put together by Imhotep head coach Andre Noble and Archbishop Wood boss John Mosco. And they’ll do so in front of literally hundreds of Division I, II and III coaches who will return to the city over the course of three days, keeping a close eye on current recruits and discovering new names. 

Just like last weekend, the event starts on noon Friday with games at Jefferson University’s Gallagher Athletic Center running through the evening. Saturday and Sunday sees action starting in the morning at both Jefferson and St. Joseph’s Prep, with games running through the evening on Saturday and through mid-afternoon on Sunday before things wrap up.

Included are the host schools, Wood and Imhotep, who are in the conversation along with Archbishop Ryan, St. Joe’s Prep, West Catholic and a few others as potentially the best local programs in the event, almost all of whom are back for the second weekend in a row. 

They’re joined by a strong out-of-area group that includes New Jersey powerhouses Camden, Don Bosco Prep, St. Rose, Rutgers Prep, St. Peter’s Prep, Bergen Catholic and Gill St. Bernard (and more), plus a bunch of quality South Jersey programs.
