The 10th Annual girls’ All-City Classic took place at Imhotep Charter on Tuesday night, with three games bringing together some of the city’s best freshmen (Class of 2026), sophomores and juniors for an evening of all-star games.

Here’s who stood out to the CoBL staff:

Shariah Baynes (2024 | Paul VI)
The junior game wasn’t the prettiest offensive showing for either team, but Barnes was fun to watch. The 5-6 guard from New Jersey had a couple of really good reads playing off the pick & roll with Gianna Johnson, one of them leading to a pair of free throws. She used her quickness to get to the basket and earn a pair of drips herself and showed off a pull-up triple as well. Baynes has a handful of Division I offers, including one from St. Joe’s last June, and she’s poised for a bigger role at Paul VI next season with Hannah Hidalgo headed off to Notre Dame.

Nal’la Bennett (2025 | Friends’ Central)
The Phoenix sharpshooting guard had her shot working for her on Tuesday night. Bennett took all nine of her shots from beyond the arc, hitting five to finish with 15 points, while chipping in some strong ball-handling and a couple rebounds as well. Bennett doesn’t need much time to get her shot off, showing that quick release on a couple curls where she took a handoff and launched, while showing her deep range on other catch-and-shoot buckets. Bennett has one D-I offer, from Delaware State, with others poking around.

Kamora Berry (2026 | Neumann-Goretti)
Berry will have to be patient at Neumann-Goretti with quite a talented duo in the class ahead of her, but the 5-7 guard showed off why she’s considered one of the top young players in the city during a 10-point outing on Tuesday. Berry, who was fourth on the Saints in scoring this past season, knocked down three triples in the game and also added a 1-for-2 trip at the stripe. She’s got a quick, crisp jumper and was ready to fire when the ball came her way.

Lola Ibarrondo (2024 | Neshaminy)
Ibarrondo earned Game MVP honors for the second year in a row to conclude Tuesday’s action after scoring 10 points and sprinkling in a couple of rebounds and assists. Ibarrondo’s shot looked really good, knocking down two threes. A 5-7 guard with a little bit of shake and bake to her game, she also got to the bucket and dished/dumped to teammates as well. It was fun to watch her and Neshaminy teammate Reese Zemitis feed each other a few times in the game.

Sanai Johnson (2026 | Shipley School)
Johnson took home game MVP honors in the freshman game, putting up 19 points for the winning side to start the night to go along with a pair of assists and eight boards. Just a freshman with two seasons of varsity hoops under her belt, the 5-4 guard can really fill it up. She stepped outside to hit a pair of threes and was smooth knocking down multiple pull-up jumpers. She’s got some speed and shiftiness to her game as well, showing off a finger roll on the drive and driving baseline and finishing with a reverse.

Jayla Koser (2026 | Middletown)
Koser only managed to put the ball through the hoop one time for two points, but the 5-10 guard/wing still left an impression on the CoBL staff. Koser, who recently picked up an offer from Wagner, did a little bit of everything else as she grabbed six boards and added a pair of blocks, steals and assists. She’s got some oomph on her passes and a good feel for the floor. She liked to push the ball in transition and was comfortable running point at her size.

Amya Scott (2025 | Neumann-Goretti)
Scott was in attack mode all game long, the 5-6 left-hander loving to do whatever she can to get to the bucket and finish with her dominant hand — even if that meant throwing in a crazy over-her-head shot when forced right, arguably the bucket of the evening. Scott finished with 16 points, five rebounds, four steals and two assists in the sophomore game, and while it wasn’t her most efficient evening from the floor, there wasn’t anybody who could stay in front of her.

Shayla Smith (2025 | Audenried Charter)
The MVP of the sophomore game, Smith showed why she’s been pulling in all sorts of high-major Division I offers over the last year with a 17-point, nine-rebound effort. The 5-10 guard, one of the best bucket-getters around, started her day off with a smooth layup and then a catch-and-shoot 3-pointer, one of two treys she knocked down, as she otherwise used her terrific handles to get to the bucket, often cutting through two or three defenders to get her shot off or get fouled.
