ATLANTIC CITY — The Select Events Atlantic City Showcase filled up the AC Convention Center this weekend, with more than 500 teams taking part in the action, with Division I (plus II and III) coaches out for the May live recruiting period. A high-level field featuring some of the area’s top teams as well as sneaker-sponsored and independent programs from around the country came out, along with hundreds of college coaches.

Here’s who stood out in games we watched on Sunday:

Faith Ambrose, 2024 Delco Goats 17U

Faith Ambrose (2024 | Delco Goats-Stackhouse 17U)
It was a well-rounded effort by the Goats in a huge win over the WPA Bruins GUAA squad, but Ambrose certainly had a huge hand in the winning effort. The Bishop Shanahan 5-5 point guard tallied 11 points, five assists and five rebounds and was on the floor diving for loose balls with her teammates throughout the game. She’s unafraid to drive into space despite her size and was able to collapse the defense a few times to free someone else for an open looks. She also earned a pair of trips to the line. The five rebounds highlighted some of the toughness and fearlessness she brings to the table.

Tayla Barros (2023 | Boston Showstoppers 17U)
The 5-10 guard from Cathedral High School impressed with 10 points against BBA GUAA, showing off her bag. Barros is versatile and her great ball handling makes it hard for the defense to steal the ball from her or stop her when she gets to the basket. Barros can shoot from every distance and seems really comfortable in shooting 3s as she made two in this game. Barros’ quick crossover made it easy for her to get past defenders and get fouled. Her long arms help her be solid defensively.

Sam Blumenthal (2024 | Delco Goats-Stackhouse 17U)
Blumenthal was definitely the tone setter for the Goats in their win over WPA. She outworked and outhustled everyone on the floor and was rewarded with an 11-point, nine-rebound, five-assist and two-steal effort. The 5-10 forward scrapped inside to earn the Goats several extra possessions. On offense, she stepped out for a three and also finished in traffic. Some of her best offensive work came as a playmaker at the free throw line, finding a cutting Riley Stackhouse twice for big buckets.

Mallory Daly (2024 | WPA Bruins 17U)
Daly tallied 14 points against the Delco Goats in a game where her team found it tough to score. The effort was enough to keep things tight before the Goats eventually pulled away. She was effective as a scorer both on and off the ball, cutting to the bucket to free herself for an easy hoop once or twice. The 5-8 guard has a tight handle she used to get into the lane. She converted an and-one and got the line two other times as well. Daly also used her handle to create, picking up three assists. She showed off some of her defensive chops with a pair of steals and a block.

Hope Drake (2024 | GTS Fusion 17U)
Drake exploded for 12 of her game-high 14 points in the first half against Penn Fever. Drake led her team to a 48-39 win while showing off her shooting ability, knocking down 4-of-5 attempts from 3-point range. Drake was on fire with her quick release sparked by her off ball movement allowing her to get open looks from beyond the arc. The shooting guard came off screens with a purpose ready to shoot while using the attention brought to her to get her teammates involved.

Talia DiMichele (2025 | Rebels Basketball Academy)
It was smooth sailing for the Rebels in a lopsided win over Premier Basketball and the 5-5 guard from Bensalem was a big reason why. DiMichele poured in 15 points for her team in the victory. She’s a lethal outside shooter, knocking down a trio of second half triples after doing her damage from two-point range in the first half. DiMichele made sure to share the wealth as well assisting teammate Sarah Freeman on a couple of her long balls as well.

Brie Droege (2024 | Lady Raiders HGSL 17U)
Droege was one of the most interesting prospects in this weekend's showcase as her understanding of the game can definitely be translated to the college level. In a 44-34 win against Team Pennsylvania in front of Iona, FDU and NJIT coaches, the guard put up 15 points. Droege, who scored 23 points a game this season at Columbia High School, gets fouled a lot, pushes the pace in transition, gets offensive boards and defensively she is outstanding. Droege will enter her senior season just 400 points away from reaching 2K career points at Columbia.

Carryn Easley, 2025 BBA 17U

Carryn Easley (2025 | BBA GUAA 17U)
Assists, consistency and toughness for the 5-4 combo point guard were displayed against Boston Showstoppers. In a 50-45 win, Easley attacked the basket aggressively and, while the defense tried to stop her from getting easy layups, she kept finding open looks for her teammates outside the paint or a bounce pass to the forwards. The Showstoppers were in a zone the second half and Easley, an all-state guard at Neumann-Goretti, led the offense with patience and control of the ball but also knew when to push the pace in transition.  .

Nina Emnace (2024 | NJ Shoreshots HGSL 17U)
In a game where her shots just weren’t falling, the Harvard commit ensured that did not impact her play on the other end. Emnace finished with 10 points and six steals against a talented Team Northeast. While she pressured the opposing backcourt into a number of mistakes — sliding her feet to stay in front and using her quick hands to poke the ball away — she calmly dealt with defenders who got up in her grill. The 5-8 guard knocked down a pair of threes and had several others rattle out. She has a smooth stroke both off the catch and the dribble and a knack for freeing herself for open looks.

Olivia Fernandez (2024 | Empire State Blue Flames 17U)
Fernandez finished with 13 points, four rebounds and three steals in Empire State Blue Flames’ victory over the NE Crusaders. The 5-9 guard has a lot of shiftines to her game and is really dangerous attacking the basket. She’s a confident driver and finisher on both sides of the basket, showing off some nice touch when she got into the lane. She knocked down an early three that helped open up some driving lanes. She’s got quick feet to move laterally on defense as well, and is an opportunistic defender as highlighted by her three steals.

Madison Francis (2025 | Team Northeast 17U)
The high-major target impressed last weekend in front of the CoBL Staff at Sportika and once again stole the show in a win over the Shoreshots as she compiled 24 points, eight rebounds and eight blocks. The 6-2 wing/forward faced up and attacked and showed off a few moves in the post. Also a track standout, it’s no surprise where she really thrives is transition, grabbing rebounds and speeding down the court for a bucket and even dishing off once or twice. Very few can match her size, athleticism and speed — let alone all three. The effort is non-stop on both ends, she sprinted back on defense to stop a few fastbreaks the other way and she knows when to slide over to help for a rejection.

Kayden Glotfelty, 2025 Golbal Squad 17U

Kayden Glotfelty (2025 | Global Squad 17U)
Glotfelty was the early star in a well-played and entertaining contest against NEPA Elite late Sunday afternoon that ended in a Global Squad win. She knocked down her first four shots from 3-point range and finished with five in the game during a 21-point outing. After hitting a few open catch-and-shoot threes she decided to pull-up from deep too with success. Even after the 5-5 guard from Maryland cooled off she found ways to contribute with six boards, two assists and two steals. She also did some damage inside the arc late, hitting a clutch pair of free throws and knocking down a short floater/jumper in the lane.

Joie Levy (2025 |Northeast Elite 16U)
Levy, a 5-4 guard, was arguably one of the best shooters in the 16U age group this weekend. In her 30-point performance in the 53-36 win over Rebels Basketball Academy, Levy made five 3 pointers and dominated the game from start to end. The guard, from Ardsley High School, is really hard to defend as she can score in numerous ways. It was impressive to see her get defensive rebounds and take off, going from one side to the other with just a few dribbles and getting an easy layup. Her quickness and ball handling help her get to the rim and get fouled a lot.

Adora Nwude (2026 | BBA GUAA 15)
Nwude set the tone on the defensive end, coming up with four steals in a 55-35 win over Elevate Elite. The forward let her defense set up her offense, picking a couple of pockets leading to easy buckets as well as reading plays and jumping into passing lanes for interceptions. Nwude finished with 16 points and seven rebounds, providing a strong presence in the paint. Nwude was aggressive throughout, slashing on drives while attacking the offensive glass, creating second chance opportunities for her and her teammates.

Kathryn O’Kane (2025 | Heat Hoops 16U)
It was hard to identify a standout from Heat Hoops’ win over the Gemz that saw eight of the team’s nine players score and four others score eight-or-more points, but Kane’s feel for the game was definitely a big reason her squad was firing on all cylinders. The 5-6 Council Rock South point guard finished with seven points, four rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block, making good reads and hustle plays that may have not showed up in the statsheet. She’s an initiator on offense and a steadying presence with the ball in her hands.

Mya Pauldo (2025 | Hurban Legends 17U)
Similar to her twin sister Mia, Pauldo is a lightning quick guard with a good first step. Pauldo scored 17 points in a 53-46 win over New Jersey Rise. The point guard is a high-volume scorer with a soft touch from all over the floor. Pauldo scores in a number of ways, but loves getting into the lane, using an effective floater or pull up mid-range jumper to her advantage. Along with being a talented offensive player, the point guard is also a pesky defender who loves getting in the passing lanes. She finished with four steals while picking up full court, causing havoc for other guards.

Mackenzie Perluke, 2024 NEPA Elite 17U

Mackenzie Perluke (2024 | NEPA Elite 17U)
Perluke, a 5-8 guard from Wyoming Valley West, was fun to watch as she tried to keep her NEPA team tight with Global Squad in a terrific game Sunday. She finished with 19 points, three assists, six rebounds and a pair of steals in a well-rounded effort. She put the ball on the deck and finished a handful of times with a soft scoop shot to score around the defense. She worked off the ball, finding open spaces in the lane for easy buckets or coming off a screen for a quick shot. She seemed to have a good feel for the game and vision of the floor, showing off a good sense of where she and the ball should be on the floor.

Arianna Seitz (2024 | Lady Raiders HGSL 17U)
The 6-0 guard scored 10 points to help Brie and Brooke Droege get the dub against Team Pennsylvania. Seitz, out of Eastern York High School, uses her height and long arms to get steals and challenge opponents to shoot over her. The versatile guard, who had a 46-point performance earlier in January, is aggressive with the ball and she is also able to find her teammates with outstanding assists. Off the ball she is always moving as she got a few layups through back-door cuts. A few scholarship level schools have been reaching out and she will be getting even more calls if she keeps performing as well as Sunday

Cameron Spinner (2024 | Germantown Lady Panthers 17U)
Spinner filled up the statsheet in a 50-40 loss against United NJ, finishing with 15 points, five rebounds and four assists. Spinner was the catalyst behind Germantown’s offense, initiating from the point, but also showed her ability to play off the ball. An aggressive driver, Spinner didn’t shy away from contact, going to the free throw line six times. The combo guard also showed her ability to be a willing shooter knocking down a couple of catch and shoot 3-pointers.

Kate Allard (2025 | NE Crusaders 17U), Skai Bayless-Anderson (2024 | Global Squad 17U), Allie Falesto (2024 | Empire State Blue Flames 17U), Sarah Freeman (2025 | Rebels Basketball Academy), Madison Goodhart (2024 | Global Squad 17U), Jaidyn Harper (2024| GTS Fusion 17U), Madisyn Moore-Nicholson (2024 | Germantown Lady Panthers 17U), Emily Olsen (2024 | Delco Goats-Stackhouse 17U), Fiona Reckner (2025 | Heat Hoops 16U), Alexis Riggs (2026 | BBA GUAA 15U), Ella Saunders (2026 | Elevate Elite 15U), Megan Sias (2024| NJ Shoreshots HGSL 17U), Maddison Siggins (2024| Penn Fever 17U), Riley Stackhouse (2024 | Delco Goats-Stackhouse 17U), Ava Walker (2024 | WPA Bruins 17U), Gabriala Watkins (2025 | Team Northeast 17Ut
