NORTH PHILADELPHIA — This past Sunday at Cristo Rey High School, Post & Pivot hosted the Quick Abstract Reindeer Games. The six-game slate was competitive from start to finish, with one contest going to overtime. Here are a few standouts:

Alassane Amadou (2023 | Springside Chestnut Hill)

The Marquette-bound senior had a decisive performance in the win over Pharos Academy. Amadou tallied 11 points, 6 rebounds and SEVEN blocks. Beyond protecting the rim, the 6’9 wing-forward had several spurts defending perimeter players on an island and held his own. Amadou’s length bothered the Gulls all game and gave the Blue Devils the edge as they W, 78-67.

Isaac Cole (2025 | West Catholic)

With no Zion Stanford, Cole was the player who stepped up for the Burrs. “Ice” scored 18 points, with the majority of them coming on his five makes from three. As Mt. Zion started to close out harder on him, he made good decisions when attacking them to get to the paint or swing the ball. The Burrs didn’t get the win, but Cole’s progress putting the ball on the floor is a silver lining.

Alan Garcia (2023 | Pharos Academy, N.Y.)

What might have been tough shots for others were easy money for Garcia. The 6’4 senior guard got wherever he wanted inside the arc with his NY-patented handle. He hit flurry of pull up jumpers in the mid-range plus two threes. Once he caught outlet passes to start their transition offense, he used his burst and long strides to quickly flip the court, reaching the basket for good looks for himself or someone else. Garcia led all scorers with 28 and chipped in 3 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals.

Silas Graham (2027 | Haverford School)

In the lead-off game of the day, the eighth grader put up a career-high 30 points in the 65-62 over Cristo Rey. He was seemingly impossible to keep out of the paint. At 6’2 and without any speed or strength advantage, Graham showed touch on his drives to the rim. His 8-of-11 performance from the line and 11 fourth-quarter points sealed the game.

Ty Mishock (2024 | Devon Prep)

The Tide rolled in their win over First Love Christian thanks to Mishock running the show. His third year as a starter, the junior penetrated the defense for kick outs and hit cutters around the basket for 8 assists. Mishock also cashed in three triples of his own for a total of 16 points to go with 4 boards in the 68-56 win. His development as an advantage creator add a significant wrinkle in DP’s well-oiled system.

Martin Somverville (2024 | Bishop McNamara, M.D.)

Somerville was automatic when he had a clean look and a few times when he was contested. Every time Archbishop Carroll made a big shot, Somerville answered with one of his own. The 6’2 guard lit up the scoreboard for 32 points in the 85-82 overtime win. He made a living in regulation with 5 three-balls, then was clutch down the stretch from the free throw line (7-of-8).

Jake West (2025 | Archbishop Carroll)

Four Patriots outscored West but it was his playmaking that subtlety drove the offense. In the loss to Bishop McNamara, West sprayed the ball around to open teammates, assisting on six made buckets without taking many dribbles. His feel with and without the ball was impressive to watch.

Joshua Wyche (2023 | Cristo Rey)

Still somewhat of an under the radar prospect outside of the area, the Lafayette-signee had 20 points and 9 rebounds against Haverford. After pulling down defensive rebounds, Wyche turned grab-and-go opportunities into coast-to-coast buckets for the Blue Pride. The 6’7 forward finished through contact multiple times and converted the old fashioned 3-point play at the line.
