Strengths: White constantly puts pressure on the defense with his consistent attacking style of play. Not a real flashy handle but uses his dribbling abilities to score from all areas on the court. Good shooter off the dribble, ok spot up shooter, looks to attack in transition and does a great job of finishing at the basket. Tough guard who likes to score and if he is hitting his jumper is very hard to stop.
Weaknesses: Needs to work on going left. Has to work at on-ball defensive pressure. Sometimes looks to force scoring when his shot isn’t falling, and falls susceptible to sometimes losing his focus on the defensive end when he’s not scoring.
Overall: The Cheltenham guard has developed tremendously under the direction of John Timms. His scoring ability and makes him a great fit playing off the ball, but he handles it well enough to play the point position also. Has raised his stock to play at the Division II level, but would be a contributor right away for a Division III school.
