Overall: A strong-bodied combo guard, Salata has significantly improved his ability to finish through contact between the beginning of his junior and senior seasons, thanks to growing an inch or two taller as well as adding on a solid 15-20 pounds of muscle over that time, now has a college-ready body. Plays hard and competes at both ends, still needs to improve lateral quickness defensively to guard point guards, but strong enough to body up wings and some smaller forwards. Strong rebounder with a nose for the glass.
