Overall: A sharp-shooting left-hander, Ellwood can really stretch the floor with his ability to knock down shots from a few feet from beyond the arc. He's beginning to put together a better all-around offensive game as well, utilizing a pump-fake to get into the lane and throw up a floater, which he's hitting with more and more consistency. His handle could use some work, though it's solid enough that he can be a secondary ball-handler in a multi-guard backcourt, and his being a lefty gives him that extra little edge that makes him effective at the high school level. Solid athlete could improve in that area, and his frame suggests he could add strength and bounce with continued focus in training. Has a chance to get scholarship looks by senior year with continued improvement in these areas.
