Strengths: An elite offensive point guard, Green has a top-notch feel for the game, with a great understanding of when to attack, when to shoot and when to pull out and run his team's offense. Excellent 3-point shooter whether working on or off the ball, and can finish around the rim with either hand; also capable of creating and hitting tough shots off the bounce. Great court vision and willingness to pass, though he will assert his shot more as the game goes on.
Weakness: Tries to dribble in traffic sometimes and could pick up a couple turnovers. Needs to slow down at times, but that will improve as he gets older; sometimes gets caught up in a one-on-one battle and can rush a shot or two if his opponent gets hot. Can sometimes struggle on defensive end with bigger off-guards, as he doesn't possess elite length or top-end speed.
Overall: When he first got to high school, Green was a talented scoring guard with confidence beyond his years. Now, he's become more of a true point guard, with great court vision and passing ability to complement his stellar 3-point shot and ability to get to the rim. And as his game has adapted to fit his frame, his future stock has only continued to rise, to the point where he should now be considered up there with the best rising senior guards in the country.
