June 15 is the first day on the Division I men's basketball recruiting calendar that college coaches are allowed to contact rising juniors, in this case the Class of 2018.

We'll be updating this page throughout the day as various high schoolers in the CoBL coverage area hear from various colleges:

12:40 AM: Archbishop Wood's Tyree Pickron started his day off well, fielding a call from Stony Brook head coach Jeff Boals shortly after midnight and receiving his first Division I scholarship offer; he also was texted by La Salle.

The sharpshooting 6-3 wing, who led the Vikings with 14.7 ppg this past season, missed the April live periods due to a foot injury but has looked strong in the past weeks with both Wood and WeR1.

"It was surprising," he texted CoBL about the offer. "(Archbishop Wood) Coach (John) Mosco told me to look out for a couple calls but I didn't think it would happen this fast and I am definitely happy, but I know I have to work harder."

Pat Lawless was first to report the offer.

9:45 AM: Eric Ayala (2018/Putnam Science) picked up his first offer of the day, from UCF head coach Johnny Dawkins. The Delaware native, who reclassified and went up to Putnam Science last season, has also heard from Temple, UConn, Providence, Maryland, Miami and USC; of those six, Miami, USC and Temple have offered. A 6-5 shooting guard, Ayala has enjoyed a strong spring with WeR1's 17U team, forming a terrific backcourt with 5-star 2017 guard Trevon Duval.

Marcus Littles (2018/Franklin Learning Center), Team Final's behemoth 6-9,  250-pound forward/center, received calls from Miami, USC and George Washington in the early hours of the day and also was texted by La Salle.

2:30 PM: Apologies for the delay, but several updates:

-- Five-star wing Cameron Reddish, the No. 5 prospect in the 2018 class according to ESPN's newest rankings, has had a busy day. Multiple high-major coaches, including Jay Wright, called him just after midnight; he's already added offers from Syracuse and Alabama today, with "too many (other schools) to name" also reaching out, according to his AAU coach, Aaron Burt. High-major offers are nothing new for Reddish, who already holds those from Kentucky, Duke, UConn, Seton Hall and Villanova, among others.

-- Del-Val Charter/WeR1 2018 PG Antwuan "Booty" Butler picked up his first D-I offer, from Nicholls State of the Southland Conference.

-- Another member of WeR1's 16U squad, Fels' Allen Betrand, has fielded calls from Villanova, Temple and La Salle. The 6-3 wing just picked up his first offer, from St. Joe's, last week.

-- Justin Anderson (2018/Franklin Learning Center) said he's received texts from St. Joe's, La Salle and Quinnipiac. The 6-3 lefthanded shooting guard is looking for his first offer.

3:30 PM: La Salle's been busy this afternoon, with head coach John Giannini offering scholarships to several local prospects that his staff had already reached out to earlier in the day: Marcus Littles, Allen Betrand and Justin Anderson were all offered by the Explorers.

Thursday, 11:45 AM: MCS forward Ed Croswell picked up his first offer on Thursday, CoBL learned. Croswell got an offer from Nicholls State. The 6-foot-6 rising junior plays AAU ball with Team Final and helped MCS reach the Class AA PIAA state title game last season. His full recruiting profile can be found here.

3:04 PM: Octorara's Christian Ray fielded calls from Drexel, Colgate and Lafayette over the first two days of the recruiting period. The 6-5 shooting guard, one of the top scorers in District 1 last year, plays with Team Philly on the AAU circuit.
