Savon Goodman has withdrawn from classes at La Salle due to "personal reasons," according to a release from the school on Thursday afternoon.

The Philadelphia native, who enrolled at La Salle on May 24 as a graduate transfer, had spent the last two years at Arizona State. He earned his bachelor's degree at ASU after beginning his college career at UNLV and then transferring to Indian Hills CC, where he spent his sophomore year but did not play basketball.

The press release, which was one sentence long, did not provide a comment from either Goodman or La Salle head coach John Giannini.

Even without Goodman, a 6-6 forward who averaged 10.4 ppg and 7.0 rpg at Arizona State, the Explorers are expected to be one of the nation's most improved teams next year thanks to the addition of three other transfers: Pookie Powell (Memphis), Demetrius Henry (South Carolina) and B.J. Johnson (Syracuse).
