BOSTON, Mass.--After losing to the league’s worst--Delaware--the Drexel Dragons failed yet again to snap their growing losing streak of 10 games, as they fell in another CAA road game, 70-60 to the Northeastern Huskies.

At First…
As they’ve been known to often times, the Dragons had one of their scoring dry spells, the first of which coming about seven minutes into the game, as they allowed a three-point deficit to blow up into a 28-15 by the 9:41 mark.

Drexel showed some fight towards the end of the half, but again struggled to score in the waning minutes of the opening frame, as Northeastern would take a 39-24 lead into the half.

Turning Point…
When the Dragons cut the lead back to single digits for the first time in the second half, with about four minutes to play, it seemed like there was some hope with Drexel trailing just 63-55. However, that was about as close as they could get, as Northeastern was able make enough free throws down the stretch to hold the Dragons at bay.

Shining Stars…
While most of Drexel’s players struggled in their road trip to Northeastern, Rodney Williams had a nice afternoon, leading all scorers with 23. He went 9-of-11 from the field.

The Huskies’ attack was led by David Walker; the senior dropped 21 points, making five of his six three-point attempts while dishing out five assists.

Noteworthy Numbers…
3: The three-ball was a particular struggle for Drexel, who made just five of their 17 attempts--three of which were made by Sammy Mojica. Northeastern, on the other hand, rained in just over 50-percent of their threes, powered by Walker’s stout shooting performance.

Up Next…
Drexel (3-22, 1-13 CAA) vs. Elon (Feb. 18, 7:00 p.m.)
Northeastern (14-13, 6-8 CAA) @ James Madison (Feb. 18, 7:00 p.m.)
