Some of the best young basketball players from Philadelphia and New York will go head-to-head on Saturday, in a trio of games hosted at Ben Franklin High School.

The All-City Classic's Philly vs. New York all-star event will tip off around 5 PM with the 2018s game, which will be followed by the 2017 and 2016 all-star games.

Both teams are sponsored by NBA players, with the Indiana Pacers' Rakeem Christmas backing Philadelphia and the Brooklyn Nets' Chris McCullough backing his native New York. And there are plenty of future Division I players taking part.

The Penn State-bound Roman Catholic trio of Lamar Stevens, Tony Carr and Nazeer Bostick lead the Philly seniors, which also includes Virginia commit DeAndre Hunter and Saint Joseph's commit Charlie Brown. They'll go up against UNLV commit Christian Vital, high-flying future UMass guard Unique McLean as well as recent St. John's pledge Shamorie Ponds.
