DeAndre Hunter has cut his list of nearly 30 offers down to his final 11, keeping schools from all around the country in the running.

Arizona State, Notre Dame, Connecticut, Oklahoma State, Southern Methodist, Saint Joseph's, Maryland, Villanova, Miami (Fl.), Virginia and Alabama are the schools who still have a shot at the 6-foot-7, 185-pound wing, who's entering his senior year at Friends' Central (Pa.).

Despite missing his entire sophomore season with a broken leg, Hunter has made his way back to being one of the hottest recruits in the area. He reeled in 14 offers during June, July and August alone thanks to his play with his AAU program, Philly Pride, with schools like ASU, Notre Dame and Maryland all offering in the last three weeks.

Another recent offer was Villanova, one of two local schools still in the running; Temple and La Salle offered Hunter last summer, as did Penn State, Rhode Island and NC State, three other schools that didn't make the cut.

A talented offensive player with a smooth outside shot, Hunter averaged 15.3 ppg this summer on the Under Armour circuit, adding 5.1 rpg and nearly two assists per game as well.
