The 2015 AAU season is in the books, meaning it's time for high schoolers around the region and across the nation to start preparing for the 2015-16 season.

One of the first big events of the preseason is the Summer Shootout, which brings together some of the best teams in New Jersey along with a few out-of-state squads for a few days of competition. This year's event will be held at Trenton Catholic, starting Thurs. morning and running through Sun. night.

The real draw will come this weekend, when north Jersey powerhouses Roselle Catholic and St. Benedict's get a few games in--but teams like Ewing, Plymouth-Whitemarsh (Pa.), Marist, Ridge, Camden and Trenton Catholic are also certainly worth watching.
