CoBL Girls Fall Classic: Day 2 Standouts (Oct. 8, 2023)

ROYERSFORD — The second-ever CoBL Girls’ Fall Classic took place this past weekend at Spring-Ford High School, with more than 50 high school teams (and a couple grassroots programs) coming to play in front of the assembled college coaches and media, as well as the CoBL staff.

Here’s who stood out to our writers during games on Sunday, Oct. 8:

Charlotte Aldridge (2026 | Downingtown East)
Aldridge’s Downingtown East team dropped a game to a strong North Penn squad before picking up a victory over Conwell-Egan on Sunday and her versatile play shined throughout both. The 6-foot guard/forward knocked down shots from the perimeter and also exploited opportunities to post up smaller defenders, including a nice finish with her left down low in the win over Conwell-Egan. Aldridge has some help out on the perimeter after being forced into point guard duties as a freshman last season but she’s still able to play that role when needed and is really good at ripping from either wing and making drives to the hoop.

Kayden Baratta (2026 | Phoenixville)
The 5-10 sophomore knocked down four 3s and scored 21 points for the Phantoms in a 41-37 victory over Downingtown West Sunday afternoon. Baratta got into the paint for buckets off the dribble and also made some nice cuts to the rim once the defense started to take away her outside shot. She has some slippery athleticism and size to score inside that are made even more effective by her pure stroke from the outside. A diving save for a loose ball before gathering herself to bury a corner three was a sequence that highlighted a little bit of all of those traits. The combo guard also picked up two steals defensively.

Sophia Benyo (2027 | Hazleton)
The 5-10 freshman forward scored 12 points in her team’s dominant win over Council Rock South, using both hands to finish with soft touch around the basket. While Benyo’s scoring impressed, the other parts of her game were really eye-catching. She has a good feel for the floor and really good vision whether that’s in the lane or up at the top of the key. Benyo made a few terrific finds to cutting teammates, showing off anticipation and an ability to spot holes in the defense.

Colleen Besachio (2026 | Archbishop Wood)
When Beschio missed, which wasn’t often on Sunday, it almost seemed surprising. The 5-foot-11 forward was locked-in from long range almost right away and drained multiple threes against Pennsbury, Conestoga and Germantown Academy before the Vikings called it a day. Besachio had a strong connection going with teammate Emily Knouse throughout the day, cashing out plenty of Knouse’s passes. Besachio did some damage inside too, but with the way she was shooting - including standstill and on the move - it made sense that the Vikings kept getting her the ball out on the perimeter.

Quinn Boettinger (2025 | Perkiomen Valley)
A 6-2 post player, Boettinger flashed on multiple areas of the floor for "Death Valley." She had a ton of success as their strong-side rim-protector in both games. Versus Lansdale Catholic, she battled in the low post against their big and contested shots without fouling. And versus the smaller-but-quicker Neshaminy, she was more active as a full on shot blocker and deterrent at the rim. Offensively, she was just as versatile. The Vikings used her as a hub at the high post where she could distribute. Then they let her go to work on the block where she added a few buckets.

Cora Fattori (2024 | Springfield-Delco)
A key returner for the Cougars, Fattori lifted her team to a comeback win over Archbishop Ryan. The senior guard kept them afloat in the first half, getting them organized and trying to create for others. But she flipped a switch in the second. Fattori did more than initiate the offense: she nearly was the offense. Her mid-range jumpers and layups gave the Cougars a spark. As the defense keyed in on her, others made shots to help them take the lead. Then, with under a minute left, Fattori called game by draining a tough floater. She finished with 16 points, 4 rebounds and four assists.

Grace Galbavy (2025 | Perkiomen Valley)
The wiry 6-0 wing was in her bag against Lansdale Catholic. Her mid-range game in particular kept the Crusaders at bay. 1-dribble pull-up, turnaround over the right shoulder, curl into a catch-and-shoot; every shot that left hands looked good. She saw the floor just as well too, making quick decisions to swing the ball or kick it up the court in transition for easy buckets. Galbavy also played with an edge on defense. She had a couple blocks and several rebounds on that end to help the Vikings get a decisive win.

Anise Geiger (2025 | Imhotep Charter)
Geiger, a 6-foot-1 forward, was a second team All-Public League selection last season and looks like her game has taken another step forward. She put together an efficient 12 points and six rebounds in a win over Souderton and added another nine in a lopsided game against Springfield-Delco, proving too tall and skilled down low. Geiger has good hands and footwork inside and was able to get herself to the line and finish through contact with frequency. She looms large on the glass and the back line of the Panthers’ defense as well.

Emily Knouse (2025 | Archbishop Wood)
Knouse was no doubt exhausted late Sunday afternoon when popped open at the top of the key in the “first to three” overtime against Germantown Academy, but it didn’t show as she buried the game-winner to end Wood’s long day. The junior guard was terrific in the three games she played, playing the role of facilitator - a lot of those assists going to Colleen Besachio - and rebounded well while also mixing in a few threes here and there, of course.

Addison Levensten (2026 | Harriton)
The sophomore guard’s athleticism jumped out quickly, from the way she got to the rim against Cardinal O’Hara and Archbishop Ryan, the zip she put on some of her passes and how quickly she got up to block shots, including an impressive denial at the rim on a drive against O’Hara. Levensten is still learning how to play with a new team, but she was looking to get others involved while taking on a good amount of responsibility on the ball.

Sanyiah Littlejohn (2025 | Lansdale Catholic)
With an unmatched coolness to her game, Littlejohn had a productive day. She was able to get to her spots with subtle moves because she had the ball on a string. Her side-step into a pull-up three was just as smooth as her hang-dribble-cross into a floater. And she displayed the same amount of touch on her floater as she did on her lob passes into the post. Last but not least, Littlejohn was a menace on defense. She picked off five passes versus Perkiomen Valley and another few versus Conestoga.

Sabria Mann (2025 | Imhotep Charter)
Mann led the offensive charge for a balanced Panthers’ group on Sunday, scoring 15 points against Souderton and chipping in another team-high 11 against Springfield-Delco. The 5-foot-7 wing/guard was absolutely lethal in the midrange as both a scorer and playmaker. She pulled up for jumpers in the lane multiple times during the big outing against Souderton and showed her pretty stroke extends beyond the arc later in the day against Springfield. Mann contributed in plenty of other ways throughout the day, adding four assists, three steals and a block to her statline against Souderton.

Layla Matthias (2024 | Pennsbury)
Matthias’ aggregate scoring may not have even reached double digits on Sunday, but just a few seconds of watching the Falcons play told it all. The senior had double-figure rebounds against Archbishop Wood and she was just as aggressive later in the day against Emmaus. On both ends of the floor, Matthias is always in motion, whether that comes from setting a screen then crashing to the glass or pestering the ball defensively.

Lily Milewski (2025 | Conwell-Egan)
The 6-0 junior post had a great summer playing with Mid-Atlantic Magic AAU and continued that hot streak Sunday in a 39-30 loss to Emmaus. Milewski finished with eight points and 10 rebounds and showed her soft touch in finishing around the basket, hitting from the midrange, and occasionally pulling from deep. The Eagles will go as Milewski goes this season following her second-team All-Catholic team selection last year.

Joanie Quinn (2024 | Cardinal O’Hara)
No matter the time, the date or the place, the Lions senior is going to play hard. With O’Hara minus a few players still busy with their fall sports, Quinn set a tone with her defense. Against Harriton, she played textbook defense on a drive and ended it by getting a hand on the ball for a block and in the second half, she just stole an inbound pass for an easy layup. The La Salle recruit was also aggressive going to the basket and got most of her points for the day inside a few feet of the rim or at the line.

Reynah Rattliff (2025 | Archbishop Ryan)
Rattliff scored 30 points in a 42-41 loss to Springfield-Delco Sunday morning and 18 points in a 51-35 loss to Harriton later in the day. The 5-7 point guard has a quick first step and compact handle that allows her to attack the rim at ease, eventually drawing the attention of the defense and opening up kick-out passing lanes. Rattliff is a good passer and doesn’t take plays off on the glass or defense.

Caleigh Sperling (2024 | North Penn)
The 5-10 combo guard and Jefferson commit led the Lady Knights to a 38-35 victory over defending 5A state champ Archbishop Wood Sunday morning. Sperling is adept at getting to the rim and finishing through contact, even against an elite opponent in Wood. She also knocked down a few outside jumpers and crashed the glass/picked up the intensity on defense when needed. In an earlier win over Downingtown East, she poured in 18 points and grabbed five rebounds, hitting three 3-pointers and a number of buckets on post-ups.

Sofia Vitucci (2024 | Pennsbury)
“Just tough” was the way someone described the Falcons guard, as apt an observation as there could be. In games against Archbishop Wood and Emmaus, the crafty and composed senior was able to find her points while finding her teammates for theirs. Vitucci is always a threat in the midrange and used that shot to set up some drives, a few looks from outside and passes around the floor to other Falcons. Her defense and effort on the glass was high-energy as usual.

Reese Zemitis (2024 | Neshaminy)
Throughout the weekend, Zemitis didn’t put together any of her explosive scoring outings she’s become accustomed to but she made big shots and did a whole lot of other things for Neshaminy. The 6-foot point forward committed to Bucknell scored 12 points (three 3s) in a win over Germantown Academy. Her work on the other end of the floor was just as impressive as she blocked three shots, including a swat in the final seconds to seal the one-possession victory.
