Overall: Faw is a very interesting big man prospect. At 6-7 200 lbs, he is very mobile for a guy his size. He can run the court just as well as many guards and possesses a unique level of athleticism. He projects most likely as a 4 at the next level with his ability to operate on the perimeter and stretch the floor even out to the three point line. His mid-range game is solid as well. He has a nice high release on his shot and a consistent stroke. He is extremely useful in the pick and roll / pick and pop because of his ability to shoot. Has a decent handle and shows the ability to straight-line slash when attacking closeouts. He plays physical in the paint and has shows a nice array of post moves; good footwork on spins and up & unders in particular. On defense he protects the rim very well. Good timing on his blocks / contests. One of the things that is very easy to like about Faw is his competitiveness. He plays with a bit of an edge, and does a lot of the little things well such as talking on defense and diving for loose balls. Right now he is a priority target for many top Division II & III programs, but he is also beginning to garner interest from some low-mid major DI schools. He recently received his first Division 1 offer from Holy Cross, and this will likely not be his last with the way he has been playing on the AAU circuit so far this summer.
