CoBL's premier recruiting event for Division II and Division III prospects will be coming back to Philadelphia University on Sunday, Oct. 4!

The CoBL College Exposure Camp is designed to get 100 area juniors and seniors who will be playing college basketball on the court together, in a setting designed to both help them continue to improve at the sport they love while at the same time showing the dozens upon dozens of college coaches in attendance what they can do!

Our camps start off with 90 minutes of skill work, led by trainers who are used to working with high-level high school, Division I and even NBA professionals, bringing their knowledge and expertise to our campers. After that, the campers will break off into teams and will play games in the afternoon, with college coaches running the teams and providing insight and feedback to our participants.

The following trainers are confirmed for this camp:

  • Kyle Sample, Constitution HS assistant coach
  • Chuck Ellis, Immaculata College assistant coach
  • John Timms, Cheltenham HS head coach
  • Tom Reifsnyder, City of Basketball Love

Both Chuck and Kyle are excellent skills trainers, and have worked with players including Marcus and Markieff MorrisKyle Lowry, Wayne EllingtonDion WaitersReggie ReddingKhalif Wyatt, and many more. John, who played amongst the city's best guards in the early 1990s, has turned around the Cheltenham program in his three years as head coach.

The last CoBL College Exposure Camp, back in June, brought college coaches from more than 60 schools located in nine different states (and Washington, D.C.), including several programs that are NCAA Tournament regulars, to the gym at Philadelphia University.

Here's what some of the participants had to say:

  • "It was great exposure, and really helped my game...as a result of the camp, I have had several Division II and III coaches reach out to me." --Cal Reichwein, C.B. West '16
  • "The camp did help my game with the drills we did before the games--and it helped my recruiting a lot." --Khalil White, Cheltenham '16
  • "It definitely helped my recruitment. All of my offers have been from schools who saw me at this camp. Good coaches, and good competition too." --Josh Warren, Downingtown West '16

We are sure this event will be an even bigger success. You don't want to miss out!

This camp is open to rising juniors and seniors who want to play college basketball. All players must be nominated by a varsity or AAU coach. Send us nominations and contact information at cityofbasketballlove@gmail.com.
